Berlin, Berlin !

issue #29

Last month my photography class went on a field trip to Berlin. Lots & Lots of fun. Don't believe me? Well, here comes proof.
Totally lost track of what I'm shooting these days.. This should be Superia Xtra 400, hurled through the F80.

on the Train, great weather.

Most people took some sleepytime on the train. Props to Hanna for her AWESOME sleepmask

Michi slept like 5 out of 6 hours..

.. but was wide awake when we arrived at Berlin Mitte.

The room we would be sharing the next 4 days.

Walking to the sub. Our hotel was not reaaally that downtown, so it always took us like 30mins to be some place.

15mm on the F80.. funtime. distance was like 12cm or so.

Goerlitzer park.. fun place! We were there for like 20mins until some cool black dudes tried to hook us up with some reefer. "you need some stuff you come here we over theaar!"

Watching the gaaame (Germany vs. Poland oleee) having a beeeer outside of some bar in Kreuzberg. Sarah raising her glass.. looking already slightly hammered. Well, to her defense, we've been drinking since 5PM or so..

Who needs fuckin huge plasma flat screens to watch a football game? In the end it comes down to the game itself and the people round you.

Later that day we were invited at the representation of our state to have free bretzels and juice. The Downside was listening to some MP for over an hour... Anna & Sarah had a pretty rough time keeping their cool.

Aaah there he is. Trying to talk Michi out of cigarettes, even giving his qualification for doing so, which would be beeing an ex-smoker who smoked away 3 packs of roth haendle a day.. "pretty strong weed I tell you!".

Next roll, again Superia Xtra400, prooobably hold back 1 or to 2 steps.

Invasion of the tonguepeople! I like Elmar in the back checking frames on his Olympus E-1.. He took like nothing else but long time exposure stuff.. HEART.

Getting my spy-thing on and shooting some strange people without asking.. wooohoho I-am-BADASS.

Took a lot of flagshots these days.. I guess the EM kinda got the patriot in me all excited.. 50mm 1,4 with Benny's polarizer.

After some trouble getting in.. cheers to Markus... we took our places and listened to some lady for another hour or so.

And thiiis is where it get's ARTSY. The idea of crop lenses on fullframe is not exactly NEW.. cheers to Tob.. but I've never seen a lens crop like that.. Bennys tokina 12-24 on the F80. SarahU on the Reichstag.
